Michael Smith

Michael Smith is a native of Southern Maryland and moved to the Washington DC area in 2009. Michael has an Associate’s degree in Graphic Design, a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Security, and a Master’s degree in Project Management. Michael has an accounting certificate as well as a Defense Acquisition University Level 3 certification in Information Technology Acquisition Programs. For the past 14 years, Michael has worked as a senior civil servant for the Department of Defense in their Comptroller Office where he’s a team lead overseeing fiscal execution of worldwide military construction projects. Michael currently lives in Washington DC with his husband, Lee.
