Know Your Story

And the best way to present these core business tenants is by putting them all together in a cohesive, memorable brando story. Your brand story outlines not just your company’s mission, vision, and values, but also how your business came to be and why it’s special. Your brand story could describe how your business was founded or how it helps customers but the important thing is that it outlines the problems your clients or customers face and how your business can fix it. 

Have a Style Guide

No one likes an ugly business. People want tot see something professional, pleaseing and organized when online. A style guide may sound complicated but it’s really just 3 things: color, logo, and fonts. Here are 2 things you can do to build a style guide. 

  1. If you have a logo, find out the exact colors in the logo. Those are your brand colors. Your business can only use those colors and nothing else. If you don’t have a logo or your logo is only a few colors, pick 4-6 colors to be your brand
  2. Pick 2-4 fonts to be your business fonts. Use these fonts in all your content. 

Know Your Keywords and SEO

SEO stands for search engine optimization. It’s the art of making your content more likely to appear in a google search results for specific keywords. 

SEO may seem like a skill only certain writers have, but most businesses only need a few basic guilding to make sure your page is ranking well. 

  • Know what keywords people are searching
  • Naturally weave those keywords into  your online content 
  • Have a regular blog to keep your website active
