This month is drawing to a close, which means it’s time for me to choose another Employee of the Month. This is always a hard task because every member of our team is exemplary (excuse my bragging!) For January, bookkeeper Michael Smith is our EOTM! Congratulations, Michael! Michael has been an invaluable addition to our team from the beginning. He takes care of clients as though their company is his as well. He thinks of things before we do, and preps for them, making him a true proactive professional! Plus, he’s so much fun to work with such a great personality and a sardonic wit that’s both magnetic and infectious! Read on to find out more about Michael.

How long have you worked for VersaTel Solutions? – Three months.
What did you do before working from home? – I’m still working a full-time job. This job allows me to stay busy in my free time.
Why did you choose to work for VersaTel Solutions? – I can work at my own pace, from anywhere, and I love numbers.
What do you like most about working for VersaTel Solutions? – The VersaTel Solutions team, and the challenge of some of the clients.
What have been the benefits of working from home and what suggestions do you have for anyone considering a change? – I miss a routine when working from home. So my advice is make a routine, set a schedule, and try to stick with it.
What do you like to do in your spare time? – Spend time with my family and friends.
What do you see yourself doing three years from now? – I’d love to have steady clients and advance VersaTel Solutions.
Anything you’d like to add/like our clients to know? – Thank you very much for this award. I have been with my full-time job for 15 years and don’t receive recognitions like this from them so it’s great!
